The Cronos Slimwall Cellular Palletwide Container (CPC) is a patented design.

The increasing use of pallets and unit loads by major shippers for warehousing and distribution has highlighted the internal width limitation of standard ISO containers.

Side-by-side stowage of pallets is not possible in a standard ISO container, where the average internal width is only 2.34 m, so shippers have to stow 'long side to short' or 'nested,' which is inefficient, both in time and the number of pallets that can be stowed.

The Cronos Slimwall Cellular Palletwide Container (CPC)® provides maximum internal dimensions for the carriage of palletised cargo, yet can be easily stowed aboard all container ships, even those with close fitting guides or deck stools.

Other non-ISO dimensioned containers simply do not have this ability. The Cronos Slimwall CPC can, however, be handled in exactly the same way as a standard ISO container and, in addition, meets or exceeds all ISO strength tests.
